Lessons Learnt

What I thought would a good idea would be to start summarising all the training I've been to for the last 8 years. That way I will refresh my learning, whilst hopefully imparting some useful singing tools!

Previously I had been affiliated to the Speech Level Singing training programme, which later morphed into the Institute for Vocal Advancement. I'd been on this programme since 2006. However, in 2018 I decided to move over from what was essentially a very much American programme, to a more home grown one, namely the British Voice Association and The Association of Teachers of Singing.

I found the training to be a very enlightening, which entailed a complete change in the technique I was teaching, and my discovering and securing lessons with a renowned British teacher in the Contemporary and Musical Theatre world. I've been on a steep learning curve ever since!

So watch this space for my first instalment! Hope you find it useful!!
